Several years ago, as a creative-writing exercise, a group of fellow editors and I assembled a list of the things we most frequently saw as being problematic in the work of the pro and semi-pro writers we worked with. I've maintained my list, presented in the form of a Manual of Usage, Style and Syntax, and just this morning finished the fifth revision to the document.
I'm sharing it with all of you, for your personal use. It's geared more toward business and non-fiction writing, so much of it might be less relevant to the purely fiction authors out there, but ... nevertheless, here you go!
